The British Association of Landscape Industries (BALI) has confirmed that it will be exhibiting on Stand 138 at Vision 2017, for the first time, over 6-7 June at Olympia, London.
Vision 2017 is the UK’s premier built environment event aimed at architects, designers, specifiers and their clients. It provides an international focus for innovative products and building solutions, bringing together thousands of industry professionals for two days of learning and business.
BALI has chosen to exhibit at Vision 2017 to help the Association target potential new Registered Contractor, Designer and Affiliate members, with over 4,000 architects and specifiers expected to attend the two-day show.
Vision’s programme and exhibition is CPD certified and will focus on Materials Innovations, Technological Insight and Architectural & Design Evolution. In 2017, Vision will also play host to a series of international partners from across Europe. Representatives from Belgium, France, Italy, Luxembourg, Latvia and the Czech Republic will exhibit at the event through a collection of pavilions, covering a range of products, materials and solutions, from intricate glass panels to timber structures.
BALI’s marketing and communications Manager, Darren Taylor, commented: “Vision represents a unique challenge for the Association in promoting the benefits of joining BALI to UK and international specifiers, architects and designers who are at the top of their class. I also welcome the opportunity to discuss partnership working with RIBA and New London Architecture, amongst other organisations, during what promises to be an exciting and educational two-day event. I urge all BALI Registered members to sign up for their free ticket to the show.”
In addition to the main exhibition, Vision 2017 will present a series of talks and events in collaboration with RIBA, BRE, the London Festival of Architecture and New London Architecture. Major architectural practices from the UK and abroad will take part in the talks programme designed to push the architectural debate in unexpected and exciting directions.
Zaha Hadid Architects will unveil a new material inspired by the fashion industry, UNStudio will present the findings of a new piece of research that explores the impact of the circular economy on the built environment and rising star Benjamin Garcia Saxe will reveal how sustainable architecture is being tackled in tropical climates such as Costa Rica.
