Mowing sloping grass verges can be difficult, and even dangerous. If you have large areas of steep verges to mow, and a walk behind mower is not an option, what is needed is a powerful lawn tractor, with excellent traction.
The XT3 lawn tractors from Cub Cadet are designed for the toughest, most demanding conditions, driven by powerful Kawasaki engines and equipped with ultra-strong components – the Cub Cadet XT3’s are brimming with strength and power for even the most precarious of cuts.
The four models within the line up are the most powerful in the XT Enduro Series™ and feature the ‘All-Ground-Traction System’, which provides optimum traction on tough terrain, thanks to the mechanical differential lock. This provides unsurpassed traction on all terrains. The 38cm tight turning circle adds to this manoeuvrability, making it perfect for difficult surfaces and challenging layouts. The powerful and reliable V-Twin 726cm³ Kawasaki engines on all models provides power and higher torque, whilst the hydrostatic drive system, (operated by foot pedal control) provides a smooth and comfortable ride.
This line up of ride-on mowers has been designed for ambitious gardeners who require heavy-duty construction and professional-grade engines to cut through even the tallest, densest of grass, in the most difficult of conditions. The machines have been developed to tackle the most challenging terrain and conditions that demand more power, with greater agility, precision and control.
The market leading cut, along with the extremely strong drive system with drive harmonisation, provides smooth, efficient power delivery and cutting performance, whilst the solid and corrosion resistant e-coated frame provides long lasting protection and class leading stability.
Within the range are two rear collection models, the XT3 QR95 (95cm / 38″ cutting width) and the XT3 QR106 (106cm / 42″ cutting width), both of which benefit from Cub Cadet’s Direct Collect® system which transports clippings into the large 360 litre collection bag in the shortest, most efficient route.
There are also two side discharge models to complete the collection, the XT3 QS127 (127cm / 50″ cutting width) and the XT3 QS137 (137 cm / 54″ cutting width) featuring a fabricated cutting deck.
Nick Hills, general manager for Cub Cadet UK, said: “The All-Ground-Traction-System provides the ultimate stability, providing security to the user, whilst giving the perfect cut. The heavy-duty construction, professional-grade engines, and ultra-tough components like Cub Cadet’s legendary direct shaft drive, all combine to make the XT3 the ultimate garden tractor.”
