Successful BIM workshop for BALI and the Landscape Institute

BALI

BALI hosted its first Building Information Modelling workshop in partnership with the Landscape Institute. The event, which took place last Friday 7 October, was well attended and received great feedback from those present.

Romy Rawlings, Landscape Institute’s business development manager said: “The joint BIM event held last week in Stoneleigh went extremely well, with a broad range of attendees from contractor, designer and supplier backgrounds. Feedback so far has been excellent and attendees felt that they had developed a better understanding of ‘BIM for Landscape’ and what it might mean to them in their particular roles.

“The LI’s BIM Working Group is keen to ensure ongoing engagement throughout the industry, to ensure the benefits of working to a BIM protocol are fully understood and enjoyed by all. This was our first ‘pilot’ event and we are keen to engage further with contractors responsible for both the construction and FM stages of landscape projects, so please look out for future events.”
