Scotscape supports the social enterprise Streetscape

Streetscape is an award-winning Charity. They provide apprenticeships in the landscape gardening industry to 18-25 year old’s who are long-term unemployed, helping them to build the skills, experience and attributes they need to fulfil their ambitions and move into full time work.

Streetscape are dedicated to:

‘Growing Lives, Transforming Landscapes’

Integral to this is their Social Enterprise model where-in they design, landscape and maintain gardens across South London for residential, commercial and community-based clients. Since 2010 they have earned a reputation for delivering beautifully constructed gardens to suit all plot sizes and budgets.

Angus Cunningham the MD and owner of Scotscape has sat on the board of trustees for Streetscape since 2012, offering his knowledge and support to this fantastic charity whilst providing a platform of commercial landscape maintenance projects for the Streetscape apprentices to assist with.

The motivation to get involved stems from the principles that Scotscape also adhere to – staff empowerment, supporting the landscaping industry by developing good staff with good skills, a desire to nurture and support others and create employment opportunities. Streetscape support our landscape maintenance team at Kidbrooke, a Berkeley Group location, and have proven themselves to be an excellent and reliable team.

The genuine transformation to the lives of those who work as apprentices under this social enterprise make supporting Streetscape an easy choice. If you want to find out how to support Streetscape get in touch with us 0208 254 5000 or call Streetscape on 0203542 3464.
