Leader in garden technology launches new website

EGO Power+ has launched its new website, full of cutting edge features that reflect the brand’s status as an innovative leader in its sector.

“Technology is at the heart of everything we do so, as pioneers of the cordless machinery, it is important for us to have a website that reflects our ground-breaking, innovative status. Our new website absolutely does this, highlighting the superior features of our products and giving the customer more information,” says Steve Roskell, EGO’s European marketing director.

Informing customers about the endless benefits of EGO’s cordless technology is a key focus of the website with extensive product information, brochures and videos added. The EGO Power+ range, launched under three years ago, has already established itself as a UK brand leader and the only specialist in battery powered garden machinery. This success is largely attributed to its intelligent lithium-ion battery, and the technology within it. This is all clearly explained in detail, with simple videos, on the new website to reiterate EGO’s expertise.

Navigation has also been improved to give a cleaner user experience on the fully responsive website. It has three simple tabs – “Our Story” which explains the technology behind EGO and the benefits of cordless technology; the “Product Range” page has been extensively developed to highlight the substantial advancements to the product offering, highlighting run times and features in an easy-to-use comparison table featuring all models within each product category; and a “Where to buy” section showing online outlets and the locations of approved EGO stockists.

Steve continued: “We are rapidly overcoming scepticism and myths about battery technology that are linked with poor quality batteries launched over 20 years ago. Our new website is another way that we are informing people and changing their old misconceptions about battery power, and converting them from alternatives.”

The slick visuals of the website mirror the sleek style of EGO’s product and reiterates the “cordless expert” messaging that is consistent throughout the brand’s identity and marketing materials.
