Hedges Direct, the leader in online hedging sales, are sponsoring the project value of £100,000 – £200,000 category at the APL awards.
Alexa Stillwell, APL Awards events co-ordinator says: “We are delighted to welcome Hedges Direct on board as category sponsors for the APL Awards, helping to demonstrate their support for UK landscapers. The awards highlight excellence in landscaping from our members and provide a fantastic showcase for their work.”
The Association of Professional Landscapers Awards which takes place on March 17, 2017 at The Brewery, London has been running since 1995 to help recognise and reward the high standard of landscape contracting. Attended by over 300 landscapers and tradespeople, the awards demonstrate the commitment to professional workmanship and customer satisfaction.
There are 13 categories landscapers can be nominated for within the APL from specific project values to soft landscaping and community gardens. Hedges Direct have chosen the project value £100,000 – £200,000 category because they loved all the work the nominees have done around hedging and planting.
Jamie Shipley, operations director said: “Hedges Direct have been thoroughly impressed with 2017’s shortlist within the £100,000-£200,00 project category. The landscapers and designers have created outstanding gardens for their clients, over-coming difficult sites and working with existing landscape restrictions all whilst achieving the perfect outdoor space for their clients.”
Additionally to sponsoring the awards, Hedges Direct are gifting each landscaper who attends the event a copy of their Hedging Handbook and a branded keyring tape measure. The Hedging Handbook is a pocket size guide which includes the brand’s top products that landscapers can use as a visual aid when talking to clients about which plants they want for their project.
The APL awards will help showcase the brand to an increased number of landscapers and highlight the upcoming website re-launch, another huge milestone for the company. They are excited to see who will win the prestigious award and all the new developments that will occur now that it’s peak planting season.
